I can't decide if i should put Rema on my mac desktop or on my windows based laptop. I only use my lop top for doing JV presentations and such, otherwise I only use my mac.
My main thing is with regards to the rema reminders. Do I have to turn on Rema to get my reminders or can i set it up to send me an email reminder or is there some other way?
I do know how to get rema to work on my mac so that isn't the issue.

    Thanks

If you want to run REMA on a Mac, there are several options:

    1. Bootcamp, The Mac boots up into Windows XP and run REMA instead of Mac environment. The disadvantage you cannot use mac stuff at same time. You must reboot the computer to see mac stuff.

    2. Purchase a virtualization software eg. VMWare Fusion$, Parallel$, or Sun Virtual Box - Free, to run REMA in a window on your mac. Windows XP/Rema runs in separate window on your mac and you can use your mac software as same time. Note: You must
buy a copy of Windows XP/7/Vista to run in your virtual window.

Steve, you can certainly install REMA on either your Mac or PC. Since you use your laptop PC for your presentations and REMA's Analyzerprepares a JV presentation report you might want to run it on that machine. And of course, you are free to install it on both machines, which might make good sense if all you do is the analysis and presentations on the laptop and keep your properties' data on the Mac.

    Hope that helps,
