Domenic Mandato is the Founder and President of InvestPlus Properties Canada Ltd. He is a real-estate investor and entrepreneur who specializes in the acquisition, renovation and value enhancement of multi-unit residential buildings. He has successfully acquired, managed and sold approximately $50 million worth of multi-unit residential properties in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec, over the last 14 years.
Mr. Mandato has spent the last 9 years building and managing InvestPlus, a highly successful real estate investment and management company. He has built InvestPlus as a company and a brand which is defined by integrity, quality and simplicity. The corporations and limited partnerships of which Mr. Mandato is a principal, own under the InvestPlus brand, approximately $50 million in cash flowing multi-family residential properties comprised of over 400 rental units in Western Canada.
Mr. Mandato and InvestPlus are featured in Don R. Campbell’s bestselling book “51 Success Stories from Canadian Real Estate Investors” and he is also a featured speaker at real estate and business groups in Canada.
Born and raised in Montreal, Mr. Mandato holds a B.Sc. ME degree from Concordia University. In 2003 Mr. Mandato moved to Calgary, Alberta where he currently resides. Mr. Mandato’s career background includes extensive experience in sales and marketing.
Domenic is also the winner of the 2011 REIN Top Player of the Year and the 2011 Leslie Cluff Memorial Award.
Giving back is very important to Mr. Mandato and that is why charity is a big part of his life. He is currently on the Board of Advisors for the Summit Foundation - an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the research in finding a cure for patients with Cystic Fibrosis. He is on the executive board as a trustee for the Knights of Columbus and local charities including Mustard Seed. He also dedicates some of his time and energy helping small business owners shift their businesses to the next level.
