Hi, I joined the public forum approxiamately a month ago and used a short user name. Since then I have become a Rein member and I would like to put mine full name in as my user name. However it appears that I cannot change my user name. Could someone confirm if this is correct or how to change my user name.

I'm a member and logged in as such however am not allowed to read replies to Member's Onlys posts. It asked me to log in as a member (I Am). I just changed my password if that has any bearing on the situation.

Email Notifications Stopped Working

I wonder if any one besides myself subscribes to this forum through email notifications!!

Once a while the portal stops sending me those notifications of new posts and I need to contact REIN to help. Does anyone else experience the same issue? Any advice on how to fix it by myself in a simple way?

How do I attach a Signature.....

This may be a silly question but I am still learning all the features of myreinspace and am trying to organize my user account properly.

Basically I am having difficulty setting up the pic that appears on my posts and my signature below the posts.
Any simple directions for me to complete this?

I don't even know how to use facebook so go easy on me ;)

Downloadable monthly meetings audio?

Any chance on making the monthly meetings audio (the cd's i get in the mail) available for download? On more than one occassion itunes has been unable to import / read them.

And,

Any chance on getting the titles loaded onto the tracks? Some are, most are not. having to write 5 titles down then import and manually title them takes me back to 1998.

I find it quite frustrating that once I try to follow a link from a recent posting (say 2010).. the link does not work at all.

Is someone within REIN IT looking at fixing the broken links from previous postings?

Hello, when trying to access the post workshops downloads section I get an error message each time. It says I am not logged in. But when I click the log in button it tells me I am logged in! Help?

Finding Member (future friends) User Profiles

I was on the bus tour last week. And I would like to look at some of their profiles. I only have the first name, partial name, or what I think are full names of these of members.

How do I look them up? I looked for a facebook like feature to find people, but I cannot find one. I did find the page that lets me add a friend. However, I have to be at their user profile to do so.

Please let me know what I am missing here.

New (Returning) Feature Available To You On The Forum

As we continue to enhance the user experience on myREINspace, we’ve launched a new feature (was available on the previous forum but now is live for you here) that is going to make navigation and cultivation even easier.

In your user profile at the bottom of the page, there is a “My Activity” section which will show all your activity including new posts you’ve created, threads you’ve replied to, and other users that you have become friends with. This will be your one-stop location to find all the past information that you’ve come across and have interacted with. This will also give you the chance to keep track of which topics you have shown the most interest in – another fantastic tool to fuel your real estate investment business.

As many users have inquired, this feature was very handy on the previous version of the forum, and we wanted to make sure that as many of the things that you liked from the previous version were available to you on the new forum. Here a some images to illustrate where you need to click to find you're "My Activity" feed.

Then you'll need to scroll down to the bottom of you're profile, and you're activity thread we'll be available.

Filtering Posts

This is a two fold question

First - on the old site I could search a member and then read all of that members recent posts (in this case Thomas B), can that still be done?

Second - can my personal setting be set in such a way that certain members' posts are filtered out? In reading some posts, it seems that whenever I come across certain posters' comments my blood pressure seems to rise. (I will also grant that some members have NO desire to read my thoughts on things) I notice this most when the thread goes off topic or when two members are snipping at each other (irrelevant and BORING)

Rental Rebate Agreement

I seem to recall people talking about a rental agreement with a rebate involved, but I can't seem to find anything about it.

I did find the rebate letter (http://myreinspace.com/downloads/critical_forms/m/tenant_landlording_forms/316.aspx) in the landlord forms, but that's not very professional and isn't really part of an agreement.

Is there another set of forms or an agreement example or documentation regarding this? Searching doesn't seem to cover the downloads section.

New Signature Specifications

Hi everyone!

The forum has now launched on our brand-new server and we have seen a drastic increase in the speed of the site overall. Let us know how the browsing speed is working for you as we'll be monitoring this very closely in the coming days and weeks.

With a server upgrade comes further functional upgrades to the forum. To improve the readability of the website, we are implementing some specific rules for personal signatures to keep them all at a uniform size and to remove excess space to make the text in posts more visible. This will help in removing unnecessary white space on the pages, and will also improve loading times for all pages on the forum.

The rules are as follows:

Signatures for REIN™ members will be 125 pixels tall by 400 pixels wide, 500 characters maximum.
Example size:

Forum members’ signatures will be 25 pixels tall by 400 pixels wide, 75 characters maximum.
Example size:

Signatures that are larger than this will be cropped. This means that all current signatures that do not fit within the required new size limits will need to be adjusted by each forum member. To ensure that all images and text in your signature fit within this area, large images will need to be resized to fit. If you’re not sure and would like to check the height of your signature, download this Firefox Add-On to help you out. If you need to resize images in your signature, Paint.NET is a great free image-editor.

All of these details will be available in the Technical Support section as a sticky post once the changes have been implemented: http://myreinspace.com/public_forums1/f/64.aspx. For those users who need some more help adjusting their signatures, there will be an instructional screencast posted to the Help section.

These changes will be implemented on Thursday, March 10, 2011, and will be effective ongoing from this date. We anticipate this to clean up the look of the forum and make things less cluttered and more focused on the content provided by our 12,000+ users.
