    Hi everyone,

I recently rented out a 2 bedroom basement suite to a lovely young couple, both employed with excellent credit ratings and work history. Their rent is on time (post dated cheques), and they keep the place very clean, plus they've decorated the place like they plan to be there a long time.

They had asked me to install some screens for the basement windows, and I happily obliged. When installing the screens, I noticed a second bed in the second bedroom and a different set of clothing.

While cleaning the eaves yesterday, I saw a young lady park her car in front of the house, and walk to the back (entrance to basement suite), and later emerge for a walk with the tenant.

I suspect that the couple may have brought in the friend to help with the rent.

I'm getting $950 per month plus half utilities for the suite on a one year lease. They get along well with the upstairs tenant.

What should I do? Stay quiet and accept the situation? Write a letter to them? Ask the upstairs tenant if this is so?

Need your input if you've encountered a similar situation.
