Hi Grant,

When I do a quick search (e.g. property manager edmonton), I get about 4 pages of mostly unrelated discussions with none of the 3 words appearing in the topic title. How can I make my search more effective? Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Thanks for your question!

Have you checked out the help topic on searching? Click here to view it now.

This link (which also appears in the help topic) will show you the different search operators available.

Essentially, use quotation marks around phrases that must appear, and use the + symbol before each word (like this: +property +manager) to indicate words that must appear. If you search "property manager edmonton" without the quotation marks, you will return all topics that have either the words property, manager, or edmonton. However, if you search "+property +manager +edmonton" (again without the quotation marks), you will return all topics that contain all three words. This will be a much narrower search.

Cheers!
