Finding registered property owner.

Hello.

Are there any inexpensive ways to find the registered owner of a specific property in the Calgary Area?

Use your realtor

Your realtor can pull title on the property or you can pull title. I have never done it outside the realtor system I know some other members have and may be able to post how they did it.



I did a quick google search and this is a site I cam up with www.lien-pro.com/pages/title.htm

First get the legal description of the property - go to the city of Calgary website - you should be able to search by street address to get legal description.



Then go on line to www.alta.registries.gov.ab.ca/spinii



then register as a guest



click on search



click on titles and registered documents



click plan/block



enter in plan, block and lot - make sure the rights type is on surface and hit search



cost is $5



the title will be emailed to you
