Hello Fellow REIN Members,
In partnership with local residents, landlords in Forest Lawn, and The City of Calgary: Community and
Neighbourhood Services (CNS), we would like to invite you to participate in the FOREST LAWN: LANDLORD
AND STAKEHOLDER CONFERENCE on Saturday November 15, 2014. This is one of the first engagement
opportunities in Forest Lawn to introduce Landlords to the Stakeholders in the neighbourhood and we would
love to have you join us.
Landlords are naturally invested in the community and can be instrumental in creating a place where
properties are attractive and well-maintained. They not only support the neighbourhood aesthetically, but in
return help to attract tenants who wish to stay in the neighbourhood, who want to become more involved,
and eventually contribute to making the community become vibrant and prosper.
The purpose of the conference is the following:
Introduce Forest Lawn Landlords to the Stakeholders in the neighbourhood
Motivate landlords to improve properties and learn about the resources, services and benefits
in the neighbourhood
normal;">Promote the neighbourhood of Forest Lawn, capture its beauty and be active in creating
community pride
Contribute in making Forest Lawn an inclusive community where all residents, including
tenants, love where they live and feel they can contribute to the vibrancy of the area
The event will be held at the Forest Lawn Community Association (4020 26 Ave SE) from 10:00am ` 2:00pm.
Lunch will be provided along with an opportunity to network during the latter part of the conference.
