Thanks Dominique. Though we have joined we need your or REIN members guidance as to how we can utilize or reap the benefits of our membership. I am kinda lost as of now - joined July 17,2016.

Thanks,

Attend a few REIN sessions, read, read, read, network, learn, listen, get cash ready for acquisition, get prequalified for mortgage, research poential target markets and then become an expert in your target area. Don't rush.

A few posts to get you going: http://myreinspace.com/threads/educational-rein-posts-by-thomas-beyer.10663/

Welcome Saurabh, it was a pleasure working with you and helping you navigate through your Member Back Office.
I'm a phone call away.

For all new members if you would like to go over our two (2) websites, please call me at the office for a tutorial.

I'm in Edmonton, and was planning to at least start in Edmonton.

We did what I assume most investors do when you start, bought a second house and rented out our existing.

Our top suite is now rented and we're just finishing up with the development of our basement suite.

I've spent the last 4 years reading and researching as much free information as I could find. In hopes that I didn't need to invest any money in myself.

But I've run into many people in different circles who I learned were REIN members and they've all recommended the membership.

And yes I agree pacing is very important :)

It'll be a little while before we have enough money built up again. So I'm just loading up on tools for the ol' toolbox.

Hi Tomas. For sure I am not looking to invest in Golden, BC. I am targeting Calgary and Edmonton. Just booked my 1st house (half duplex) in NE Calgary. Betting on the airport expansion in Calgary.

Your thoughts would be appreciated . Thanks

NE can be rough. 1/2 duplex is how much ? How many BRs ? How many bathrooms ? Size ? Condition ? Roof ? Age ? Would rent for ? A garage ? Two ?

Better but likely more expensive would be within 800 m of future LRT expansion stations to the SE. More upside. NE will always be rough and ugly.

1600 sq feet for $367000. 3bedroom, 2.5 bathroom with unfinished basement. Brand new built by builder Homes by Avi. Garage space for 2 is there but builder won't built it.

Rent -$1400 upstairs + basement $800 = $2200 per month

Will it cash flow ? Seems decent enough a price. Likely tight. No garage is an issue.

Good day

Just joined REIN a couple days ago after meeting a member that joined 20 years ago.....

She was able to build her portfolio as a stay at home mom into a student rental empire.

I've been an investor since 2008 and have grown my investments on knowledge I learned online and word of mouth.

I am hoping REIN can take me to the next level of investing.

The website is very informative. Looking forward to my first seminar oct 19th in Toronto.

I am also hoping to meet others and network
