Properties for Sale - No Bank Qualifaction, Low Down Payment!!

Yes. Private lending is normally more of a passive investment than rental real estate. The returns of rental real estate are potentially higher over the long term though. I love both but my wife and I are looking to lighten our work load so becoming more of a passive investor as a private...

    1% rule

Yes. I'm with Rickson. I only buy properties that meet the 1.5 to 2% rule as well. Yes they are in the US (Georgia, Arizona, and Florida). My cash on cash return is between 9% and 15%. The oldest house I own is 1998. Beside the great returns I enjoy almost zero vacancy on my portfolio and best...

Greater Phoenix New Listings per Month: 2001 to 2011 (October)

Thanks for the BLAST Thomas!?? As you are aware and have indicated active listings are one of the many leading indicators in any market. You are correct that the rest should be looked at. I can tell you this as a "FACT". I have a significant portfolio in the US. My portfolio is made up...

What`s Your Underlying Reason For Investing?

Here is my reason for originally investing in real estate. One Life - Live It! I wanted to spend some dedicated time with my family! Seven months trapped on a boat with your family. I dare you all to give it a try. Awesome experience an a great goal to get you through the tough days...

    Downloadable monthly meetings audio?

I agree totally! I also think the audio downloads should be available to all REIN members regardless of if they attend the meeting or not.

    Don Campbells Estimated Networth.

I think the more interesting question is what kind of effect has Don had on the REIN member`s net worth? Assuming that the REIN membership owns collectively in excess of $1 billion in real estate investments for every 1% real estate goes up the REIN membership`s net worth goes up by $10...

Trip Advisor for Real Estate Related Companies

QUOTE (jarrettvaughan @ Mar 23 2010, 10:08 PM) I think it would be very helpful to have a "trip advisor" type system that would allow REIN Members to post companies that they have dealt with and rate them based on a number of factors. This would allow each member to view realtors, property...

Olympia Trust - what is your experience with this company?

I have only good things to say about Olympia. I hold several mortgages within my RRSP with them and they make things work on autopilot.

    Refinance or HELOC

Be careful with HELOCS. They show up on your credit report report as do re-advancable mortgages. In my experience non-readvanceable mortgages do not. This can have a significant effect on you FICO score. Ask me how I know. If I was to do it again I would go for the Refi.

Tv show investigates Rich Dad Seminars..

QUOTE (bizaro86 @ Feb 1 2010, 01:53 PM) Ray Croc died in 1984, so you`d have a heck of a time complaining to him. However, he absolutely would have responded to an issue in one of the restaurants. He cared about the brand being consistent, because otherwise it would have no value. Imagine if...

Tv show investigates Rich Dad Seminars..

I have attended the 3 day Rich Dad seminar in Edmonton. Unfortunately it was almost exactly as reported by Market Place. I`m still a fan for Robert K. but I think he needs to manage is brand better. REIN ROCKS!!

What`s behind the curtain - What due dilligence should be done before signing up for a course?

Dude! Easy on the Red Bull this time of day! Wasn`t trying to make a point, just passing on some topic related information that I thought might be interested to some (ie. You might be interested in watching market place this Friday). If you have been to the Rich Dad 3 day seminars I`m quite...
