The Simple investor - thoughts ?

I am a complete novice trying to get into the Ontario real estate market and came across Todd Slater’s the simple investor program that offers positive cash flow for apartments in London with hands off investing for very reasonable prices. Does anyone have experience with this and think it is good a way to start off with a first property ?
