I could write about my career success and the fact that despite my young age, I was always among the top performers. I was even given the opportunity to develop a whole division in Canada that today generates 10’s of millions of dollars per year. Finding the right customer, partners, vendors, hire the right individuals, creating the right outside and inside network, etc. I met a tremendous amount of great people. I can say I've been very fortunate in life and am relatively happy of what I accomplish.

Five years ago, we started traveling the world! Both my wife have been to twenty one countries and we are fascinated by cultures, food and customs. Every time I’d come back, I’d have this feeling of emptiness. I was even more blessed recently with a baby girl, Margot. The love of my life! But that's when I realized that my career isn’t getting me to my Belize. With my current career, what’s next? international assignments? Why would I want to leave my own family and extend aging family. Every week I have to leave my daughter and wife for a few days and that’s hard enough. All I want is spend time with my daughter and be there for her first laugh, first crawl, first word, first everything.

I recently started to look for alternative source of revenues. A friend of mine pointed me toward real estate investing. I knew nothing about real estate, even less about real estate investing. Curious of nature, and eager to learn, i picked up Don's book "Real Estate Investing in Canada". Eye opener! And i want to share my Belize so it's in public records. I imagine my daughter and my wife, my parents and in-laws. All of us together in one neighborhood out in the country. Could even be on the same property. One home in Canada on a lake ( already found the place ) with a boat. Backyard landscaped with a pool , some toys for the kids. My father-in-law which love nature would be taking care of the grounds. My dad would play guitar around the bonfire at night and have a small metal work shop. My wife and sister in law would have her little baking shop in town. Both my mom and my mother-in-law, would do this one thing they’ve been dying to do… being grand-mothers. And then, in the winter, we’d travel somewhere warm. My wife and I would be mixing our responsibility, as human, of giving back to the community while traveling and revisiting places such as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand or new places such as Africa and South America, etc. As for myself and brother in law, we’d manage a portfolio collectible cars. That's how I picture myself in 15 years or earlier.

As of today, June 26, 2016, I finish reading my first real estate investing book and bought 3 others, all from Mr. Campbell. I believe in his system. I still need to educate myself.

I will need help from experience investors and am hoping that some people along the way will give me a chance, sharing their expertise and experience so I can learn.
