    14-day notice (Alberta) - what`s the point?

If you follow the law for evictions, serving your tenant with the 16 day notice, then follow up with a court appreance, which can take up to 10 days before you get a date. This is now almost a month of free rent. In my frustration I have on at least one occasion changed the locks barring the...

I started putting ABC fire extinquishers in my rentals, in the kitchen areas. I wait for a sale at Canadian Tire & pick up a handheld extinquisher for approx. $20.00 Even if you have to replace it every five years, it`s still cheap insurance on your investments. RONA versus Home Depot

After the August REIN Real Estate Bus Tour at Crowfoot I went into the RONA store to find some ass. for hardwood flooring. The entire section looked like a war zone. The product was everywhere, & no one around to help. Their rep. on the bus assured me that I could find what I was looking for...

    Hood Fan Instalation

If you had a existing fan in place, it`s just a matter of re-wiring it to the new one. If this is an exterior vented fan you will have to cut holes in your cabinet & ceiling for the vent line & install a proper vent in your roof or side wall in the attic. If the fan is a re-circulating type...
