I have rental units in Thunder Bay and I'm looking for more. there has been very little supply in the last year or two. I just picked up a real estate magazine that was saying T.Bay is the place to invest. I think this means that it's time to sell in Thunder Bay. ??? Prices are up and cmhc...

It sounds like you just bought this place and are fixing it up before renting. If this is the case, it is my understanding that all repairs "in order to get the place ready for rent" would be considered capital costs to CRA. If you had previous tenants and need to do some repairs to get it back...
