Ya he`ll do that. He is a great assest for investors that understand real estate investing (in that he scares everyone else).

Its amazing the amount of times I have to talk clients down after they read this guy....

Why do I have the feeling he`s planning on quietly accumulating properties in Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal?

Then once he`s got all he wants we`ll be hearing him tell how these markets are now underpriced and poised to explode higher.

In the meantime his doom and gloom is selling his books, making him a fortune (money he can put to good use in real estate).

After all, he`s a politician at heart. They all say one thing while doing the opposite.

I`m not a fan of Garth Turner
The above article isn`t objectionable. Everything he is quoted on is quite reasonable.
The question is will there be a significant near term increase in interest rates?

Even REIN can get it wrong.
In 1995 they were saying SELL in the Vancouver area.

Those who didn`t are probably VERY happy the past few years.
