Many older Canadians rethinking retirement







Andy Cichos always thought that, at 55, he'd kiss the working life goodbye.




However, as he got closer to retirement age, the former vice-president of external relations for Bow Valley College found it more and more difficult to envision life without the challenges and rewards of employment.




After officially "retiring" in 2008, the now 59-year-old Cichos took a contract position with his former employer and is still working part time on a special project at Bow Valley College four years later.
