We would like to thank you and your team for all you do for us as members of REIN.
Val and I just bought our third property and we will be getting our Bronze Pin next meeting. What you need to know is that this pin will mean more to us than the feelings we will have when we receive our other pins (and yes we will soon).
We started to invest in real estate about 5 years ago, buying, selling, assigning, flipping, and renovating our little buns off, thinking how great things were going to be for us and our families soon. We even quit our jobs and put our families finances in very deep trouble.
We finally thought we had a recipe to success. We bought a bungalow, and built a $1,000,000 home on it. But we even sunk more into the hole when we sold it at a mere loss of $100,000. That was our brick wall. We thought we were finished, but Val suggested we need to join REIN and learn to do things the right way, and that we were so far into debt that there was no turning back!!!
We joined REIN and for a year we observed. We got our real estate licenses so we could pay some bills, but more importantly to learn more about real estate. We came to a conclusion that if we had to work at least we make it real estate related. We also kept 4 of our properties and slowly "cleaned" them up (they all cash flow).
After attending Quick Start in Vancouver in February we got so excited and we were ready to put our REIN knowledge into action. Therefore we are so proud of ourselves to say that in our portfolio we have now 4 "non-rein" properties and 3 "rein" properties as we call them.
When our back was against the wall, we walked through it!!! There are no barriers!!!
