I am looking to buy a basic accounting software package for my Mac. Unfortunately, Quickbooks only offers an online version for Mac users (at a cost of $108 annually). Any suggestions? Thanks.
I use LibreOffice. Its a free Office Suite for Mac which includes an Excel compatible spreadsheet. I use one Excel file per property to keep track of all the monthly expenses and revenue. For basic accounting it's all I need and my accountant seems to like it.
Download https://www.virtualbox.org/ (Free) which allows you to have a virtual machine (xp/windows 7) on a Mac/PC and then install your accounting software there.
