Im trying to find a educated scotiabank banker. The one I currently deal with doesnt know very much when it comes to changing rates, or anything to do with assumptions, etc.

I have had to explain everything to him which is both time consuming and doesnt always get me the best results.

If anyone knows of one that is very good at handling investors, please let me know

Thanks!

Matt

Matthew, at Jencor we do a lot of business with Scotia, and as a result have an excellent and senior Underwriter handling our business. Call or email if I can help.

Although I am biased, a good mortgage broker will do a better job for you than a Bank employee. Many brokers have access to Scotia but they also offer products from other lenders that might suit you even better.

I should of mentioned the reason maybe. I already have a mortgage with scotia bank. It`s variable and I`m just trying to decide if or when I should switch to fixed. And if they can compete with the 3.7% some banks are offering.

I just renewed two mortgages with Scotia. One was coming due (a 1 yr fixed) and the other I decided to early renew (still had a six months or so on a five year fixed @ 4.95%). Scotia gave excellent rates, better than previous rates.

I have been working with Randy Jameison for several years now and he is fantastic. He is also a REIN member. I hold several of my mortgages with Scotia. Randy does a lot of business with them, but he also understands what REIN members are doing and will help you put together a long term plan for all your investing. Give him a call and let him know that I sent you! 403.217.1888 ext. 1
