kids of boomers are RENTING right now ! plus we have an in-migration society plus in some Western provinces like AB or now SK we have low average ages with more kids / capita .. meaning that a family of 4 will need 2 or 3 homes/condos in a few years wen kids move out .. plus old folks stay in their homes longer !
What is the fastest growing population segment in the US or Canada ? Those over 100 !! Not every 80 year old is checking out soon .. many will live in their home (or a similar smaller one or a 2nd home) for decades to come !!
