As an Edmonton real estate investor, I found parts of this CMHC Edmonton fall 2015 update very interesting. I didn't know so many new rental units were getting built in Edmonton. Check all the stats and info out at

Yes, we are in multi-family boom right now.

Lots of large apartments in the pipelines right now. It will be interesting to watch if there is a drag on under construction units as builders adapt to a slower absorption in 2016. Expect the U/C CMHC number to increase and drag. Also watch completed and unabsorbed units.
