Drake Wellington - seems to be similiar to using Manual Life One or based on same strategy - anyone use this or have experience with them? Would it even be useful when you own multiple properties?
Has anyone else ever contacted or used the GoBig Network? They seem to have a large network around startup companies, including investors and advisors who can help to grow small companies. They are located in Ohio but apparently assist and/or fund lots of Canadian small businesses. Your thoughts? Hazel

It is true that Drake Wellington is offering something similar to the Manulife One product but we take it one step further. What Drake offers is the European Lending Strategy...

Throughout the world, Drake Wellington has found that European mortgages are the most favorable to the home owner. Unlike the banking system which we experience here in Canada, the European system is more competitive and thereby offers more in the way of benefits to their clients. A comprehensive review indicates that German Sparkaßen (similar to our credit unions) has the most efficient structure to pay off ones mortgage in the quickest time, without increasing your payments. We at Drake Wellington were determined to make these alternatives available right here in Canada.

So the European lending Strategy consists of three parts.

1) Simple line of Credit
2) Net out accounting
3) Reinvestment of your principle.

The Manulife One product uses 1 and 2 but that is as far as they go.

Drake Wellington utilizes the Manulife One in connection with the 3rd portion of the Strategy.

We offer solid Limited Market Investments that are not directly correlated to the markets.
