Hi there my neighbor does this for living. It`s only intrusive int hat they need access to all units and areas of the units, including the attic, to do the inspection. The main procedure involves putting a blower on the exterior door(s) and checking fopr air leakage. These results are compared with a follow up test once you`ve completed your energy efficient upgrades like more blown in insulation, windows , new furnace, etc and you will get money back from the provincial and federal govt`s...
That`s how it works here in Ontario.. the rebates are substantial...
