RDRED to attract new business oppportunities to the Red Deer Region in 2009

E&B Data, a leader in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Analysis-Attraction, has been contracted to develop a strategic plan for attracting new investments that will further diversify the Red Deer region’s business environment.
“Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) occurs when a company, whose headquarters are located outside of Canada, invests money in a region,” explains Elin Ingolfsson, Economic Development Specialist for RDRED. “Typically, attracting Foreign owned companies leads to a more diversified economy, increased exports and improved international trade.”
