I would like to thank all of the REIN members who contributed to Habitat this week-end. We raised about $7,800. It was just fantastic the generosity that was in the room. We started the Toronto campaign after the last quick start and have raised over $50,000.(In total REIN has raised over $410,000,WOW)
I am also excited that we have over 35 REIN member volunteers for our co-ed build day on Wednesday, June 3//09.
We also have 36 women for our May 3rd build and 35 for our May 19th build.(non rein members)
Some of you were asking about a build day in your own city. Just go to the website www.habitatcanada.ca and you will find your city listed under local affiliates. Wouldnt it be great if every city had a REIN member organize a build day for their community.!!!! What a difference we could make in Canada.
