HOUSE AUCTIONS

Hello Rein,

Just wondering if anyone knows where or how to find houses that are up for auction in Ontario. I see all these properties on Ebay but would rather actually go to an auction then trust purchasing one over the net.

Has anyone here ever purchased a house at an auction.

Hi Norm,
Check out the ontario gazette.It is published every saturday and it hass all upcoming tax sales and municipalty run auctions.
Also check out your local newspaper to find "neighbourhood" auctions.

Hi Norm,

There are sites like www.taxsaleproperty.org that collect all the information on property tax sales in Ontario and some other provinces. I think they also sell title searches on the properties etc.. I have never purchased any of these but I would be interested in hearing any stories if you buy one, or know someone that does. Good Luck.
