Hi,
Minor flooding in one of my condo is likely to result in about 1500 damages (estimated carpet replacement for about 475 sq.ft.).
Walls are OK and there is no need to redo any drywall since it seems very dry.

If my deductible is 1000 dollars, would it be wise to proceed with a claim?

This is my 2nd claim ever. First claim was due to a natural disaster (act of God), this one is due to a faulty toilet.
So I don`t really have history of making too many claims, I think.

What would you do?

Based on info given I wouldn`t
However be sure your actual cost of clean up is limited to $1500! - ie re walls okay - are you sure

I agree with HousingRental, if you are sure that repairs will be around $1500, I wouldn`t bother as premiums will be affected going forward. (I couldn`t comment on the amount they will be affected though)

Thanks for you advice,
Moisture testing will be done in a few days to see if walls are affected. Currently fans are running and it doesn`t appear to be any mould.
