Hi,

My tenant said that the kitchen stove is not reaching the set temperature. He found the lower heating element (for baking) is not turning red. He tried to replace the fuse at the top of the stove, but it didn`t fix the problem.

Could it be that the heating element needs to be replaced?

Thanks.

You are correct. Based on my previous experiences with this type of problem, it is most likely the element. You can pick these items up at a reasonable cost, and they are really easy to change out.

John and Tony are correct.

However, if for some reason problem is not that easily fixed, buy him a new stove and become a hero.

Roper at Future shop is good and costs only around $300.
