Here is the latest technology for online RE ads... Virtual Staging. It`s pretty cool, but needs to be used openly so sellers aren`t disappointed with the visit. Honesty is crucial in this business.

Very cool but to your point you will need to be up front prior to showing...useful tool however!

Agreed! I saw a listing that where they dramatically changed the exterior. It could work against the sale unless it is a fixer-upper and the buyers are looking for ideas on how to improve it.

This IS a good idea if it is used correctly. I would like to investigate more as my wife is moving in this profession. She has completed several courses already and has staged a few homes already.

Interesting idea, but they do stick out if not done perfectly. Lovely Listing has some examples of truly shocking bad `virtual staging` jobs.
