our meeting Tuesday night at 7pm at the Orillia Legion 215 Mississaga Street East, Orillia.
We have 3 great guests lined up for the meeting who will provide some excellent information to our members and I`m sure will spark some good conversation and question and answer periods.
Please invite and/or bring along anybody else you think would be interested or benefit from attending the meeting.
Hope to see you all tomorrow night. Free to members, $10 at the door for visitors.
Call me if you have any questions:
Jules Mckenzie

Tuesday Nights Line UP
Brad Calverley, from the Sheriff`s office will share his experience and knowledge of landlord/tenant matters, the eviction process, and mistakes landlords make in getting this process handled quickly and effectively. Hopefully we won`t have to use his services, but if anybody ever has to this information will be invaluable to all our members and guests alike.
Shane Heyworth, CEO of Tenants In Touch will demonstrate a new system that can make it much easier and more effective to communicate (and document all such communication) with tenants, track payments and organize maintenance checks and routines. There is even a possibility that th is system could be used to deliver tribunal forms and documents to tenants when required with proof of delivery. This could make many landlords lives much easier, more organized and more compliant.
Finally, Rick Fraracci (a member) will provide a brief update on the `No More Than Four` bylaw, how you as the landlord can be notified by the OPP if they attend your unit for certain complaints and his recent experience with the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs Investigation Unit relating to complaints lodged by tenants and how they are an alternative to the Tribunal and that his experience with them has been very positive so far.
