Hi all,
I was checking out the most recent census and found some interesting info. It has a breakdown of the types of residences per neighbourhood (house, 4plex, etc) and includes suites in a single family residence.
Reading through the lines tells me this is the number of suited properties that the city knows exists (their total in the census is 879). For example, Westpark has the highest number of 131, probably since it is a mature neighbourhood next to Red Deer College. Based on these numbers, they must include legal and illegal suites.
Another piece of information for those following the suite debate that city council is discussing.
I can`t seem to get the link posted, but go to reddeer.ca, look under city gov`t, and pick census.
