My father held a property there that he rented out and ended up in the 70`s selling for $1000! And almost 40yrs later, the bargain price has only tripled???
It almost seems like this would be a good time to buy and move down south so long as you have good medical coverage, and sell the Canadian RE, put the money in the bank, or continue to rent and enjoy the sunny south at those bargain prices. I use to say that about buying Saskatchewan property and just wintering down south.
