Tenant Screening-Credit/Criminal Background check companies

This might have come up on previous postings, but I was wondering what is the most hassle free and affordable way to do a criminal background and credit check on a prospective tenant. Can anyone make a recommendation on a good credit and criminal background check company/service?

I belong to the local property management association and they have a deal with Rent Check Credit Bureau http://www.rentcheckcorp.com/

I have not used them so I cannot personally vouch for the service but I have been told it is good. I believe it is $10 per check through my local association.
