A tenant who gave us 60 days notice is telling us she will pay May's rent when she leaves - end of May, instead of May 1st like she should have paid.
(last month rent was not paid when she moved in so May rent is still owed)
We obviously know her name but not yet where she will live in June for example.
We can give her N4 but then again she will no longer be there next month as the lease ends end of this month.
Would you still serve N4 followed by L1 or it's useless?
What would you do to increase the probability of successfully collecting the rent from the lady end of this month as she promised?
Would you have her sign some other form? or even ask her where she is moving to for example ?
Not sure about asking where she will be living, as we do not want it to sound like we do not trust she will pay or something. We also hope not to need to take this to court for 1 month rent.
