Hello REIN Colleagues,
In April, at the Toronto A.C.R.E. event,
Don Campbell went on stage to announce that REIN had now surpassed the
million dollar donation to Habitat for Humanity.
Inspired by that
achievement, I walked on stage to congratulate Don, and told him that
from that day on, we, SASREIG, would give our local HFH office (Ottawa) a
cheque for $250 every time we close a Lease To Own deal (which is the
strategy we use to invest).
Well, we closed 2 this summer (#16
& 17 for us), so I went to the office of HFH a couple of weeks ago
to hand them a cheque for $500.
And I'll be making a similar trip in December as we have 2 more closings in the next 3 weeks.
Now, my fellow REIN members, what about you? I'm trowing down the gauntlet. Will you pick it up?
What can YOU do to contribute even more to HFH?
Mr. & Mrs. Mortgage Agent, how about a certain amount of money every time you do a mortgage for a REIN member?
Mr.
& Mrs Realtor, Mr. & Mrs lawyer, how about a certain amount
every time you close a deal for a REIN member (selling, AND buying)?
And
all of you fellow investors, how about you set a goal to donate a
certain amount of money everytime you "do a deal", whatever that means
for you?
