I am new to REIN. I am looking at purchasing a duplex through a builder. I have never done this before. I am working with a mortgage broker. The builder is telling me I have to work with only two banks as they know how to deal with draw mortgages and keeps asking why i want to work with the mortgage broker and not their recommended mortgage people. Is this correct? Is there reference material in working with builders before I sign anything?
