I have been in the Property Management industry for over 25 years. I have worked my way up from Leasing Agent to Property Manager. Working with 3 different property management companies as well as on my own. After being asked to oversee a few properties for out of town investors and speaking with a few REIN Members I decided to come out of retirement and take on a few single family rental units to occupy my time. I take my position very seriously and find I can be dedicated almost to a fault. My financial gain seems to come second in almost every venture surprisingly leaving me with a satisfying feeling of "My job here is done" Then I dive right back in again! I have been married to my husband Gord for 30+ years. We have 2 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren (10-2yrs). My husband has operated his own renovation company for over 25 years as well as dabbled in joint ventures with several small companies including Mobile Home Manufacturing & Mobile Camp Housing Manufacturing but was not fulfilled by working in a plant environment finding himself drawn back to the hands on side of it. He is presenlty working with a few REIN members completing their renovation needs to flip their investments. He also does the maintenance for my rental properties. We enjoy camping and all that comes with the great outdoors. We are both avid wild game hunters and spend our falls hunting moose & deer. Nothing like a lean deer roast with all the fix'ns on a cold fall day!! We intend to semi-retire in 2016ish and will be moving to the Manitoulin Islands (Ontario) to start a seasonal butchering shop. Spending our falls and winter operating the shop and our summers on the Great Lakes and enjoying the areas cultural events that fill the season.
