Terry was born and raised in small town Newfoundland. But he always had his eye set on bigger dreams than this small town could ever offer. He educated himself as a Chemical Engineer in 1998 and entered the workforce in southern Ontario. In 2000 he continued his migration west and followed the allure of Calgary. He has called Calgary home for almost 10 years along with his wife Joyce and their 5 year old boy Blake.Not content with making an engineer's salary and being told that 8% return on RRSPs is respectable and will provide a for a nice retirement, Terry went in search of a better way. Thankfully he read Don's first book in 2005 and bought one rental property at that time. In the fall of 2009 Terry was laid off (again). Taking matters into his own hands he attended the REIN ACRE Workshop in November 2009 and is now taking on real estate investing full on.He has big plans to accumulate a lot of properties in Calgary over the next few years.
