    Need some conformation.

QUOTE (NiagaraInvestor @ Jan 1 2010, 01:38 PM) From what you`ve told us about your meeting with your current bank I`d considering going to others. Yes, I won`t be going to that bank for investing, as I realized later that they are only one lender, were as a broker will be a voice for many...

    Need some conformation.

I plan to become a full time investor one day, but it seems like a long road from here. My wife and I have around $42,000 in what I consider bad debt (ie: vehicle, student loan, line of credit). We have been a single income family for almost 4 years, however my wife is beggining to make money...

Can an investor also be a Real Estate Agent?

Yes that does help. I won`t be pulling the plug on this anytime soon. I plan to stay at my current job at least until my bad debts are paid off, and we have six months of expenses stashed away. I am drawn to this work because I would be home every night, would help people, and would learn more...

Can an investor also be a Real Estate Agent?

I am not yet an investor, but am in the process of learning and paying down my debt so that we can begin purchasing properties. I am currently a truck driver, and would like a job that allows me more time at home on a daily basis, rather than being gone five days in a row. As I want to know...

Tenant wants to Paint, wants me to pay for it

If I had money saved up for improvements, I would pay for the painting to be done professionally. If I was strapped for cash, and the colours were horrible, and most importantly, I thought she could do it (is she meticulous?) I would let her, but she would have to OK the paint colour, to make...

Alberta`s big, bad oilsands are back in vogue ... but the oilsands boom isn`t coming back anytime soon.

Nice. Controlled growth is better. Sask`s oil sands should benefit from the moderated rate of growth when they get going.

Is this Handyman and RE Agent Flipping Deal Fair and Common?

Exactly what I would love to do! I would do it if the handyman really is handy and has skills (construction, organization, leadership) that can add up to 50% of the deal.

    Need help in Moose Jaw!

I`m going to start flipping houses here in Moose Jaw in the coming year, but I have no money, no contacts, and no coaching. Does anyone know a mentor or investor in Southern SK that might be able to help me out? I have experience in construction and business, but I would like someone to coach...
