Get 4 or 5 quotes and you will know what the going rate is. The cheapest isn`t always the best!

I am in Winnipeg.

I am trying to make of list of house rules for new tenants. Besides the obvious ones like no smoking, no pets, no illegal activity, what other types of rules should be included in a list like this. If any of you could help by posting a list that you use, it would be greatly appreciated.

I already had a line of credit for years before. I was just shopping around to see if I could get a better rate.

Just recently I was looking to see if I could get a better rate on a loc and contacted a bank. When they asked me what I wanted it for I told them for a downpayment on an investment property. They called me and told me that they would not give me a loc for that.

When you are calling references what kind of questions are you asking to get a true insight of what they are actually like? How are you going to know that their references are not just telling you what you want to hear?
