Accountant question: taxes on the income from 2nd mortgage

Hi,

I am a T4 employee. Last year I lent money through 2nd mortgage.


It will be highly appreciated if anyone could advise me on where to put the one time fee and the monthly interest earned from the 2nd mortgage when I submit my taxes online.

It is interest earned from investments. Line 121 on your T1.



Perhaps line 135 if it is more of a business with cost to inspect property for example and do more due diligence.
