Alberta economy set for rebound in 2010

Alberta will bounce back with solid growth next year after slipping into its first recession in two decades, a forecast said Thursday.

The Conference Board of Canada said a slowing energy sector will cut into manufacturing, construction and mining output in 2009, leading to a decline of 0.5 per cent in the provincial economy
