Hi guys,
Been a while since I`ve posted regularly but I should be around more often shortly.
Anyways - can anyone comment on the management\ownership experience of property directly across from light rail lines?
I have a FANTASTIC deal tied up (~1.45/1 @ 100% finance at prime, needs lots of work tho but that`s our specialty) but it`s going to look right at the new SW LRT line in Calgary. You`ll be able to see the train pass right by the front window, albeit a good 50-60m away.
It will actually be ~ equidistant to two stations as well, so right between them. Will be 3 blocks from one station and 4.5 to another.
I want to go for the deal but wanted a little insight from the REIN brain trust prior to waiving conditions this weekend.
Does being right across from the tracks kill it for renters? Do I need to bump down projected rents to adjust for the eyesore?
Thanks!
BT
