Average Salary for Building Caretakers

I'm trying to figure out if the salaries currently being paid to building caretakers at some properties that I am looking to purchase are reasonable, so I was wondering what everyone else is currently paying their caretakers. All the buildings are in BC and contain 22 to 37 units

about $30 to $45 per unit per month .. depends on how "subsidized" the rent is.



So it might be $700 plus suite that is $200 below market or $1000 and market rent.



The smaller the building the more "per suite" .. and often the PM has one onsite for 3-4 smaller buildings close to each other.



Make sure that caretaker has a lease, too, as he/she may have to be terminated depending on unknown/future performance.



We also pay bonuses on vacancy or gross rent levels !
