Hi all,Articles from the April 7-13th issue of Business in Vancouver paper:- page 10 - Real Estate Roundup - "Inspectors Inspected"

- Page 17 - Legal Matters - "Licensed Inspectors to Reduce Headaches
"

Legal disputes between disgruntled property owners and home inspectors will soon be mostly relegated to the dustbin of litigation history as B.C. moves to become the first Canadian province to license the industry. Property owners and home inspectors often find themselves in B.C. Supreme Court
over common allegations that an inspector failed, as an example, to disclose or note moisture ingress or that the property was previously used as a marijuana grow-op. Home inspection training was previously voluntary. As of March 31, all home inspectors are required to be licensed by the province`s Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority (BPCPA).
