Hi,

I`ve been offered an investment position in a condo (converted from an apartment 1 year ago) in the Boyle Street area. I haven`t been able to find much info on the revitalization that the City is involved in. Can anyone tell me what the scope of the revitalization is and when it is expected to be completed? Where can I find info on this on the web? How great an impact is expected on the Real Estate market in this area?

Thanks,

Bill

Boyle Street is a little to volatile for my tastes. I`ve done some work there with the non-profits. Not a place for inexperienced investors, and sure not in a condo-conversion.

Thanks, Chris, appreciate your input.

Hi Bill,Here are some links that I found:The city of Edmonton page titled, "Moving forward on the Vision for The Quarters Downtown" has a bunch of information and can be found here:

Here are some recent articles about another project also in the area:

Finally Wikipedia sometimes has some good info too:

Does anyone else have opinions on the new quarters area and whether or not this area East of Edmonton`s downtown core might be a good place to invest in? I am also looking at a couple of condos in this area. Any advice would be great...

Thanks
