The $2-billion Canada Line from downtown Vancouver to Richmond and Vancouver International Airport will be open to passengers on Labour Day, three months ahead of schedule, Premier Gordon Campbell said Friday. Campbell made the announcement as he rode on the new rapid transit line, accompanied by federal International Trade Minister Stockwell Day, other federal and provincial politicians, government officials and media, from Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver to Airport Station
