Condo Assoc.

I just veiwed a potentail condo and noticed that there is a crack in the basement foundation that seems to have leaked at least once before.
My question is this, Is the condo assoc. responsible for the repair or the owner?

I have bought a condo that had a repaired basement crack...DD confirmed that the Condo Management Company had taken care of all the repairs as a matter of course...and insisted that it was repaired properly (and that meant a little more costly) It was never a problem.
Just call the management company and ask the question...you might also ask if they done this kind of repair before. If there is a lot of mature trees around the developments, keep in mind that roots will eventually be a problem.
