It is a small world - we are building a house just outside Invermere, and we own a revenue property in the US (which is where I am writing from while enjoying some California sunshine).
I highly recommend that you read the book "The Canadian Snowbird in America", by Terry Ritchie. He is the 4th referral above. This book will give you the ins and outs of Canadians holding revenue properties in the USA. There is much more to it than meets the eye.
Also, at the February meetings REIN members were given some very important information on what to watch for when buying foreign properties. If you are thinking of joining REIN I recommend you do so before making you US purchases.
