I`m considering doing a lease with purchase options on a property that has strata bylaws prohibiting rental. I`ve mostly written off the option however I was encouraged to seek legal advice as to what the definition of renting is and how a lease with purchase options might legally be completely different and may allow me to proceed forward bypassing any strata bylaws in place.
I`m looking to discuss this with a lawyer in the Abbotsford, BC area (vancouver could work too). Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Has anyone gone through a similar scenario that would be willing to share experiences?
