With these changing economic times people have continually come to me asking if I was getting out of Real Estate. "The sky is falling, RUN" mentality. I have and continue to hold onto the fact that Real Estate is the most secure investment in the world and while some have lost millions in the stock market we have sat back with cashflowing properties that for better or worse pay for themselves.

We currently have a 9unit apartment block that has been fully renovated inside and fully re-tenanted with rents totalling $110,400per year in the Whyte Ave area. We are looking for $225,000 for 20% ownership of this project. Time frame is 3-5years beginning June 2008 when we purchased the building. Expected returns to exceed 15%annually.
Our second opportunity is a JVpartnership of $800,000 giving 70%ownership to the JVpartners. This fund will be using the capital to buy multi unit residential with a timeline of 4years beginning May 2009 (granted all funds are raised). Expected returns to exceed 15% annually.
With both these investments minimum investment is $25,000
